Office for National Statistics

The Office for National Statistics is the UK's largest independent producer of official statistics. It publishes the Consumer Prices Index, the measure of inflation used for many UK prices, benefits and targets.

Financial Conduct Authority

The Financial Conduct Authority regulates financial services firms in the UK, including lenders and credit card providers. Its rules include the minimum repayment a credit card must require each month and how firms must help customers in persistent debt.
